App doesnt even deserve 1 star. It ALWAYS freezes and kicks you out as you try to go into the app. Ive reset my iPad, restarted my iPad, deleted the app and installed again but nothing changes. DONT PROMOTE An alternative viewing channel if it is this pathetic. Maybe remove the app completely until you can offer clients a relatively decent WORKING solution. There is NOTHING convenient about your app.

Awful update . Every catch up video freezes at 6:22 minutes of playback

Very impressed with this new app. Works brilliantly. Cant wait for more channels to be added to live streaming... Also please add support for larger screen resolutions for 6s and 6s Plus so interface isnt so magnified.

Not in the least bit surprising. Poor quality and inferior programming from dstv. Too complacent. No competition so we must just except what we get. Not worth the premiums we pay.

This is the worst app I have ever used. I manage to watch just minutes of catch up programmes and then it freezes and wont load any more. DSTV use this as a great marketing tool, but couldnt care less whether it works or not. Due to no competitors this is their arrogant position.

Could not possibly be more buggy or generally infuriating to work. Cannot understand how a company so big can get this so wrong. Useless. Useless. Useless.

Terrible!! Not an advocate of piracy. So here is the alternative. Get a VPN. Get Netflix or Hulu or HBO Now and support the content creators without having a sloppy, lazy, local service provider ruin the experience for you. Please cancel you DSTV subscriptions. Send a message to those who think they can monopolize.

Its early days but this version seems to be more stable than the last version. Thank you.

Using the LiveTv feature either fails to work or crashes the app.

Search - nothing! Tv Guide- ipad crashes, works on iphone. Different catchup titles on ipad and iphone. Catchup shows disappear. Online guide is 2 hours behind. Basically the whole online and app programming has been Zuma-ed!

Always wasting my time and data downloading shows that wont play

Feel like throwing my iPhone out the window while trying to finish watching anything through this VERY POORLY developed and surely untested app... I get 27min into my first episode of Billionaires, rather enjoying the show and bang!! App crashes and now theres nothing I can do to resume watching from where I was (the resume button must be purely for show as it does nothing). Hateful app this is....

Now after your most recent upgrade, the app is at its worst ever. The TV Guide was always useless, but now it doesnt work at all. DSTV will have to carry on posting printed schedules way into the next millennium, for sure ! Can these programmers get any more useless ??

Worst app ever, hardly works! Ive resorted to downloading everything because streaming on a 50mbs fibre connection still does not allow me to watch anything without interruptions, app shut down or a myriad of error messages. Now even the download function is a problem, Seriously, how hard can this be !!!! Whats worse is that Showmax seems to work fine!!! Fire the DSTV app developers and find some new ones to get this thing to work...

Jailbroken ??. So you stopped video on jailbroken devices. Why ?. Jailbreaking is not illegal so who do you think you are? Multichoice are a monopoly but you are not God. Soon as I have closed this review I am deleting this app and getting Netflix. Bye bye DSTV.

App doesnt play videos 70% of the time. When it does than it quits all of a sudden. Crappy appy

Wont show all the channels and crashes often!

App is good and has much potential however the major downfall is the search feature on the TV guide is non existent. For a TV guide this feature is key. Pity DSTV had not moved to fix this as it pretty much is only 30% effective without this. COME ON DSTV.

This release no longer crashes on startup, which I guess is a good start l,but... - TV guide takes ages to load on a 40Mbps connection - Search is just broken - Download are extremely buggy. Sometime works, mostly does not. Please pull this app and take it back to the garage for an overhaul. Drives me nuts.
