Impossible to check TV program on this app because it hangs and never opens. Fix it quickly please.

Worst version! After so many years now this?

I dont see a way to search for shows. That should be integral to a TV guide app.

App seems a lot more stable lately. I also see a bunch of new channels - thank you. Keep it up.

Please fix it.

What is it with DSTV Apps, they very rarely do what they are supposed to do, and surely must be the slowest running Apps available. I would have thought with their experience in the entertainment business they would be leaders, but no, not even worth loading. I have tried them all, and this is another that deserves the delete button. *Update* Since changing my privacy access settings to "always" I have see a marked increase in performance and stability, hence 3 stars now instead of 1, long may it last.

Always wasting my time and data downloading shows that wont play

Constantly have to reboot. Cant get through one 20 minute episode without it buffering or dropping the episode, giving numerous error codes or that the video cant be played (and no, its not my connection, stream twitch channels, YouTube channels effortlessly)

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling this app 3 times and it cuts out during programme viewing. Cant get through more than 10/15 minutes without having to restart the app and resign in. Dissapointing

Hello, ever since I upgraded this app from the previous version to this new version which was launch in December my app has been full of bugs, now buffer even with my high speed connection, and the app freezes most time. I use an iPhone 6s, please fix these issues

On of the worst apps ive used! Video keeps on freezing and buffering.

Crashes after opening... Dont bother...

This makes the viewing experience very irritating. Please make an update which optimizes the resolution for the iPhone 6 Plus, thank you.

The app hardly works and if it does it crashes. Very frustrating app.

But unfortunately this app is quite disappointing. Doesnt last 5 seconds without crashing (literally).

With the subscription fees DSTV charging surely they can invest money in a better app. I cant use it on Airplay, continuously getting error messages, picture quality is bad and options as to what is available on catch not to my taste. Hope its to somebodys taste! Overall a really crappy app, wish I had other options

Complete waste of time. Will not connect to Explora to record remotely. "Live chat" completely unhelpful. App crashes repeatedly

Well done DSTV... This app works so well!! It has never crashed on me and have found it super stable. I can easily watch programs/movies or even remotely set recordings on my Explora... LOVE IT!! Dont know why the low reviews- this app rocks!!!

As with most DSTV services, this too is a half finished joke. So much for paying the premium subscription fee. Too many "unsupported URL" errors and shows that only play for half in their length. I have tried watching Big Bang theory for the past two weeks but I only receive "unsupported URL" errors every time I press play. How about you fix the basics of your catchup service before you waste time to redesign the interface?? Pity I cant give this app 0 out of 5 stars. UPDATE: Since the new Interface has been introduced, I havent been able to watch one show or at least 10 minutes of live tv without receiving errors or interruptions. Constant URL errors, catchup not available errors, shows skipping a few seconds or jumping back to the beginning, etc. I can see why this app received an average of only two out of 5 stars. And the customer service is even worse. Constantly being told the issue will be escalated to the technical department but they never get back to you. Dstv, you should be ashamed of this service. Update #2: dstv customer service is still non existent. I keep on being told someone would get back to me within 24-48 hours but then I dont receive any feedback. Thanks dstv...... UPDATE#3 (Jan 2015): I still constantly receive the "unsupported URL error". Live tv also doesnt work half the time. New year, same old dstv rubbish. UPDATE #4 (Feb 2015): The past week I have been trying to watch two movies, Wuthering Heights and Dallas Buyers club. Every time I received the same old "unsupported URL" error. I tried both the IPad app and the iPhone app. Neither wanted to play those two movies. The monthly cost of DSTV has now been increased to R699 per month yet the service continues to decline. I have also stopped contacting their customer service department seeing as it has no beneficial effect whatsoever. UPDATE #5 (April 2015): so DSTV has decided to start charging users for this service over and above the premium subscription fee. You would expect them to offer a respectable service seeing that theyre now asking money for it. But no, still the same old rubbish as in the past. Unsupported url errors all over the place, terrible service, buggy app which constantly crashes, etc. thank you dstv for such an absolutely atrocious product. UPDATE #6: (August 2015): still rubbish. App crashes and freezes constantly even though Im on the latest iOS version and latest version of the app. Im using an iPad Air. Doesnt even deserve 1 star.

Have not been able to get one channel to start playing within the app. And no error message explains why it cant load or start! Downloads work but live streaming not yet functional in my experience. App needs work!
